Upcoming iPhone 8 May Have 5.8-Inch Display: We have already heard too many rumors about the upcoming iPhone 8 since few months. Many rumors are there related to the design and screen of the upcoming iPhone 8. It was previously rumored that iPhone 8 would have a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge display and another rumor stated that it would only have a 5.2-inch display.

5.8-Inch Bezel-Less Display May Features In Next Upcoming iPhone 8:

But now According to the report of KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 8 will have huge 5.8-inch display having 5.15 inches of that display usable. The remaining display area will be used for virtual buttons and Touch ID and call as “Function area”.

If all the rumors are going to be proved true, then-upcoming iPhone 8 will have the full space of the display without any bezels that surround the display of the phone. With edge-to-edge display and no bezel in iPhone 8, there would be no space for Touch ID home button.  Recently Apple has granted a patent so that Apple will integrate the touch ID fingerprint beneath the screen so there will not be any need of Home button. The touch ID fingerprint uses infrared emitters and sensors. Kuo also reported that Apple’s OLED iPhone will have similar size  4.7 as in iPhone 7.

As Apple will use OLED display in upcoming iPhone, it will reduce the battery consumption of the device and provide it long battery life as compared to currently available iPhone. OLED display consumes less power than LCD displays.
