Intel is finally ready to unveil their next gen. Intel Processor which features new gen. Architecture. As earlier Intel Kaby Lake has already been inside many PC nowadays and majors brand like Dell, Lenovo or Apple ha a majority of the device which features this chipset. Kaby Lake Processor is based on 14nm Architecture same as earlier version Sky Lake but Kaby Lake support higher base clock starting from 3.0 GHz for starting processor while higher model processor has 4.0 GHz and above clock speed. While Kaby Lake also supports VR as an inbuilt feature which helps many VR developer to developer VR contents.

Intel today has announced early details about their upcoming processor Ice Lake Series, this processor is a successor to Intel’s Coffee Lake processors which is based on same 14nm Architecture, which will be officially unveiled next week.

Intel Ice Lake will have next gen. Architecture about the 10+nm process. Intel also mentioned that Ice lake is a successor to 8th gen. processor, so next gen. The processor will be unveiled next year or so, as the new processor is still in development. Intel also says much about their next processor as,

The Ice Lake processor family is a successor to the 8th generation Intel® Core™ processor family. These processors utilize Intel’s industry-leading 10 nm+ process technology.

Next Gen processor of 10nm requires the small processor to ensure high output. Intel will prepare the device for the smaller case or die as under 15W for a laptop and around 35W+ for PCs, as power consumption of the devices will be very low and the user will get higher performance. AMD’s new Ryzen processor also creating some competition for Intel new Kaby Lake processor are Rysen processor which is cost effective and performs even better from their Intel counterparts. While Intel next move will help Intel to achieve some majority in the market for their smaller processor. While AMD is also developing their gen. Processor after the success of Rysen and hope AMD come with some solution soon.

While current gen. Intel CPU requires time to grab market majority as Sky Lake and Kaby Lake has already made their mark, we hope next Intel CPU will have more power. Intel to further develop their 10nm fabrication abilities, leading to their 10+ process for larger chips by working their other large chip segments (FPGA, MIC) first.

Next 14nm Processor will arrive into the device in late 2017 or early 2018 major companies like Dell, Lenovo, Asus or Apple will make their adjustment soon while next gen processor from Intel will arrive in Late 2018 and early 2019.
