LG V30 Announced At IFA 2017 In Berlin: The wait is over & the expected smartphone from LG is out here in Berlin at the IFA event. This time LG has doubled down on the audio features & included some imaging tools too. The gorgeous look is overall looking at its best with its big & better screen, wireless charging & advanced video features. Additionally, the LG V30 is the very first LG phone to feature an OLED display in place of those traditional LCD’s, that will surely increase the battery efficiency of the handset. However, the overall design seems very similar to that of the G6 but now it is a bit taller & wider than the G6. Such big screened device with curved edges & narrow bezels is water resistant too, having a Gorilla Glass 5 panel at the front & back.

IFA 2017 Takes On The LG V30, The Future Unveiled:
LG V30 says good bye to the V series signature secondary screen this time which was usually seen on the top of the display in earlier models & now it goes for the Floating bar. This bar gives you the access through shortcuts as that was on the secondary screen in a very similar way to that of some Galaxy devices. LG has also kept an option of relocation the Floating bar according to the usage & requirements. Features like unlocking through facial recognition, lock screen changes are found good this time as compared to earlier traditional methods.
The LG V30 is powered with the latest Quad-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor having a RAM of 4GB, the combination gives it quicker launching apps & faster browsing speeds around the web. Also, the V30 scored in the same range for benchmark tests as that of Galaxy S8, Moto Z2 Force & HTC U11. LG also seemed to be moving up in the battery section as it launched the V30 with an embedded battery of 3300 mAh & ended its era of removable batteries. Another upper side of the device is its wireless charging capability which will be available in all markets.
The device comes with two memory capabilities i.e 64GB & 128GB for certain markets that can be expandable through microSD up to 2TB. Equipped with a headphone jack the V30 also features a fingerprint reader at the back side which gets doubled as a power/sleep button too. The V30 featuring 6 inches of an OLED display having a pixel density of 538ppi & resolution of 2880 x 1440 looks perfect in the series. It comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1.2 & also includes the USB Type-C port.
Talking about the Camera of the handset, it has both a standard camera i.e of 16MP having a 71-degree range & a wide angled camera i.e of 13MP capturing images at 120 degrees. Both the cameras are protected by a glass lens, which helps with clearer images and more accurate colors compared to plastic, but only the standard camera has optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f1.6 aperture. The camera offers point zooming features while shooting a video & has preset filters for the recorded videos. It also has a front facing camera i.e of 5MP for having a quick selfie & video chats.
According to the company, the V30 will come in different Color options including black, silver, blue and violet, though availability will depend on the region & will be firstly available in South Korea by 21st of September while other countries will be followed up later. Although no exact sale date has been provided by the US carrier AT&T it is expected to cost in the range of $650-$800 i.e near the price of G6, as LG has not yet revealed the price for their newly announced smartphone.
