While optimizing their configurations, the new ThinkPad Laptops now feature an 8th generation Intel Core processor & while making them more thinner & lighter than ever, as the company claims. These Lenovo ThinkPads will now be equipped with much broader support for Facial recognition that will include the very known “Windows Hello” & the “ThinkShutter” webcam feature over the traditional security apps.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Series Gets A Boom, Just Ahead Of CES 2018

The refreshed ThinkPad list starts with the very popular “ThinkPad L” series, that will be sporting the a new Lenovo Yoga design around a 13 inches of display. This time the company has kept most of the user demands on priority & that is the result they have introduced another mechanical side docking option in order to compensate the Ubiquitous compatibility. It will be having an USB Type-C port for powering up the device with a Key-lock security system as a add-on.

The “ThinkPad X380 Yoga”  has also been tested for “Mil-Spec” in order to set the perfect durability in case of any near misses. The company has introduced the “Rapid Charging” concept to its ThinkPad series this time that will boost upto 80% of power in just about 1 hour, as claimed by the company. If we go for comparing the battery life of both the devices, the “ThinkPad X280″ offers up to 16.6 hours and the “X380 Yoga” offers up to 13.6 hours of battery life.

Additionally, the ThinkPad L580 will be sporting 13 inches of optional multi-touch displays with an additional new discrete AMD graphics. And according to the company, its “ThinkPad T580″ will feature an infrared camera, a fingerprint sensor along with the “ThinkShutter” camera privacy. The company also claims it to be the lightest business laptop in its category, weighing only about 2.9 pounds.

Talking about the prices & availability of these newly refreshed ThinkPads, In the lower range the “ThinkPad L380 Yoga” will cost about $549 & “L380” for $449, going further to the medium range comes the “ThinkPad L480” that will be available for a price of $779 & the “L580” for $769. Now while going further the top range, the “ThinkPad X280” will go up for sale from $999 while the “ThinkPad X380 Yoga” will cost about $1,459. Whereas the Price for the “ThinkPad T480” will start from $989 & the “T480s” will come for a starting price of $1,269 that will be higher than the set price of $1,079 for the “T580”. Most of these devices are expected to go on sale, right from the start of next month, some sooner & some later. We all will have to wait for the CES 2018 by that time in order to have more clearer picture of these devices from Lenovo.
