HP Announces Series Of Products With Intel’s 8th Gen Core i7 Processors At CES 2018: Today at CES 2018, HP announced its new HP Spectre x360 15 that is an convertible laptop & is having an integrated AMD graphics on board. This is the first laptop to be powered with the all new 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with integrated graphics. Although that was also configured earlier with another variant having discrete Nvidia graphics. But this time the company has also launched the HP Envy x2 with Intel processors, the HP Pavillion Wave with integrated Amazon Alexa & OMEN gaming technology & display altogether at a common platform of CES. Some other accessories have also been announced alongside that include the HP Tilt Pen, the Spectre USB Type-C power pack & the Spectre USB Type-C travel dock too. This time HP seems to be all set for entering the multi-segmental market competition with its products.

HP Spectre x360 15:
As told in the introducory part above, this Spectre x360 15 is a convertible laptop & the very first to feature the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Radeon RX Vega M graphics, the device is said to be having a battery life of 12 hours with fast charge technology. While the other variant i.e Spectre x360 sporting a Quad core 8 Gen Intel processor with Nvidia GeForce MX 150 discrete graphics, delivers a battery life of upto 13.5 hours & it also comes with built-in fast charging technology for saving your precious time.
Talking about the design & display, the device sports a 15.6 inches of 4K UHD touch display, having a resolution of 2160 x 3840, comes with a protection of Gorilla Glass 4. It has been built from an Aluminium CNC machined chassis with 19.5 mm angular profile & the device comes in a single variant i.e Dark Ash Silver with Copper Luxe accents. HP Envy x2 Hybrid:
The HP Envy x2 is a light weight device (only 766 grams) and an ‘Always-Connected’ PC with a fanless CNC machined aluminium shell & it is a variant of the ‘Always Connected’ Windows PC model that was launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC in December last year. This hybrid variant sports a 12.3-inch WUXGA+ display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection that has been powered by the 7th-generation Intel Core Y-Series processors, coupled with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD storage. The HP Envy x2 Hybrid runs on Windows 10 Home OS and according to the company its estimated battery life is up to 17 hours, however it may be less or more accoring to the applications being run. In terms of Connectivity options this one includes a Connected Modern Standby for Wi-Fi, and LTE-Advanced support.
HP Pavillion Wave:
The HP Pavilion Wave has been announced by the comapny during the CES event in Las Vegas & with this it has brought Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa to the Windows 10 PC for the first time. It works by integrating the voice recognition to offer Amazon Alexa support during activities such as web browsing, working, or streaming content on the web. The HP Pavillion Wave also incorporates Intel Smart Sound technology to offer 360-degree audio output all around the living area. If talked about the availability & price of the HP Pavilion Wave, it will start shipping by the Springs of 2018 at a price of $549.99.
OMEN X 65 Big Format Gaming Display:
The OMEN X 65 Gig Format Gaming Display from HP is sporting a 65 inches of 4K diagonal display that has a resolution of 2160 x 3840 with an additional HDR10 support. This display features a Nvidia G-Sync & Nvidia Shield integration for improved gaming experiences with add-on specs i.e 120 Hz refresh rate & 1000 nits of peak luminance. Another accessory to add to this experience is the OMEN Game Stream that offers a connected cloud gaming experience &helps in incorporating the AAA gaming on any Windows 10 gaming compatible PC.
HP Z 3D Camera:
HP has brought to us the best in class Z 3D Camera accessory this time & it has a magnetic badge which can be used for attaching the camera through monitors. HP also claims to construct a 3D model through its scanning technology & hence helping the users getting 3D application images. According to the company this camera can also scan the objects with resolutions maintaining different texture maps for VR/AR/MR applications. The HP Z 3D Camera will be available for sale in the US by the start of March this year & will cost about $599. The Camera also provides its users the option to even share the images & live videos directly from the PC.
